So.... Stayed in Lake Geneva with dh and and the canine son. As we were driving to the Grand Geneva, I saw the LGPC and I knew I would hit it on my way home! I prepared myself by reading reviews and studying menus. I noticed that there were lots of people that complained about lack of selection so I prepped myself. When I arrived a little before noon, there was very little selection. I had to buy 2 small frozen chicken pot pies for dh and I also bought a raspberry, peach crumble pie. DH said the chicken pp was good and I loved the raspberry, peach crumble. Both were definitely wins. Not bad for a small store in a strip mall. When I get to LG, I'll be back so bake some more pies!

Nice people and they are serious about their pies! Blue ribbon winners. We tried a slice of Adam's apple pie and a slice of blueberry. Both got amazing crust that is just the right consistency, bone sticking good! Their chili was good too :-) We ended up buying two frozen take and bake pies for our next party!

We came in at 1 pm for lunch and they were out of pot pies. The atmosphere is strip mall bakery. pie is good but don't think of it as an out of town fun lunch destination

Took a chicken pot pie and French silk pie home. French silk was nicely sweet. A lady customer in the shop said "you'll never eat at Baker's Square again." The chicken pot pie was the best I've ever tasted. Too bad I don't live in Lake Geneva!

Awesome pies! We stop in every time we go to Lake Geneva to bring a pie home. They also have small selection of slices to eat there are take along for later. We've tried almost all of the fruit pies and there isn't a bad one out of the bunch.

The whole family tried a variety of items and all were outstanding. blueberry muffin, chocolate creme pie, apple crumb pie (exceptional), banana creme pie (exceptional) ham and cheese quiche, and broccoli and cheese quiche. The only criticism is that the quiche wasn't warmed all they way through. It doesn't seem a place this good would be in a strip mall area. Well worth the trip. Hope to stop back again to check out their lunch.

My wife saw an ad for this place in a local tourist magazine. I love pie. I can dig pot pie. We Yelped it. 5 star average given 4 reviews. We headed over for lunch. It was a Sunday. We find the place...it's a typical storefront in a typical strip mall. We go inside. The "typical" continues. The usual nondescript tables, chairs, a couple of retirees sipping coffee. A large, well-lit kitchen is clearly visible from the our side of the counter. Nobody back there but one older gentleman. It was about noon. We check out the specials written on the board. There's a couple... One about chicken pot pie. We ordered that. The guy behind the counter states that "we don't have pot pie on the weekends. I can make you a sandwich..." Well then how about changing your sign, grandpa? After our disappointment washed over us, we settle on a quiche. The reviews didn't say anything about them, nor did they mention the sandwiches. Just the pot pie. But the pot pie wasn't available on the weekend??!? Because we were hungry and had a schedule to keep, we decided on a slice of quiche. Absolutely meh. The flavors of the fillings were fine. But the crust really looked and tasted like it was pre-made a thousand miles away. And the quiche (and pies) were kept in a very unappealing display case. (As I said we were hungry.) Dunno how he heated these for us, but we got em a few minutes later. Dixie paper plates. No points at all for presentation. We didn't try the fruit or cream pies really because the whole place struck us both as being really kinda spartan. No warmth, no charm, no character. Still, what makes this review a 3 star instead of a 2 star is because we did buy a frozen chicken pot pie--unbaked, and baked it for dinner tonight. Took a while (over 90 minutes in the oven plus 45 minutes to cool and set) but it was tasty. Flaky crust (obviously not the same crust as the crummy quiches), tender chunks of chicken, lots of corn, potatoes, carrots...peppery and not too salty. No gloppy, goopy typical pot pie filling. Just good stuff that tasted good. If we want to take away another frozen pot pie, perhaps we'll go there again. But not to eat there.

Cherry almond and chocolate chip muffins were moist and delicious. The chocolate raspberry one was too subtle. Peanut butter cookies are great too.

Awesome smells and good chicken pot pie! Did not buy any sweets, but if they are as tasty as that pie crust, you will not be disappointed. Odd self-serve, counter service for a decent dining area. That would be an area of improvement for the owners. My latte was surprisingly good

Banana cream is a family favorite. One of the best we have had. Try to call ahead. Ask when they were made as bananas don't last long, but they sell out quickly. Chocolate cream is awesome too. All the mixed fruit crumble pies are my favorite. Peach/strawberry, Lake Geneva berry pie, Blueberry/peach. Service is soso. Not the friendliest workers there but great pies. They won an award for their key lime pie at a pie contest in FL! Not cheap but high quality pies!

We tried their apple pie and their cookies several times and were disappointed. The cookies were very dry. The apple pie was just okay. I know that most bakery pies don't compare to homemade and everyone has their own personal taste for pies and desserts, but the crust tasted like "store bought" and the pie was bland. On a more positive note, the service was good and the staff members were friendly, and it was very nice and clean inside.

Just a small place in a strip mall but their chicken pot pie is good. I also tried the key lime pie and it was great but can't say i eat lots of dessert pies. Their pie crusts are delicious. Tender, tasty and crisp. I wouldn't make this a destination but if you're in area it is worth a stop.

Hands down the best pie and one of the best kept secrets in the area. Chocolate Banana Pie, Lakeshore Berry Crumb (rasp, black, straw, & apples), Peach Strawberry and more. Their non-pie items are great too, but c'mon, get some pie! Hint: if you want a perfect slice at home, buy their pie cutter - makes a large perfect slice every time!

I love this place. Great pies, cookies, soups and sandwiches! Today I had the chili and would love to order seconds! My kids love the chocolate chip cookies but my favorite is the peanut butter.
